My name is Eleonora Gadducci, are a self-taught Italian illustrator and photographer of 23 years.
I am inspired by everything that is surreal and dreamlike, but also from beauty of nature around us, both in my drawings and in my photographs. I love to draw since childhood.
For me, drawing, is giving life to the world that resides inside of me. I can create through the use of paper, pencils and crayons, each drawing I do is like a son to me is a creature born from my mind.
When I do not just drawings that reproduce the reality that surrounds us, such as landscapes or still lifes, but I give free rein to my style. I use a few lines to create a "small world" out of this world, with the aim to give the best with the use of the minimum.
Mostly use white paper, pencil, crayons, or black paper and white pencil, but sometimes I work with oil pastels on paper, charcoal, china, and acrylic .
I am not inspired by a particular current, I let myself be inspired, by pretty paper in front of me, and I let everything slide as a result, I think my drawings are imbued with retro elements but also of a need to modernism.
For me drawing, is creation and projection of my world and of my visions of the world outside of me.
Art for art.. in everything I do.
