Gracey Ighut is an artist from Manila, Philippines. She completed her studies from the Technological University of the Philippines with a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts. Gracey started drawing in her childhood years and discovered her love for painting halfway through college.
Her works primarily consist of paintings, art collages and illustration using various media. She explores themes including: human behavior and physiognomy, identity, connection, meteorology, nature, animal symbolism, and figures in dialogue.
Oil and acrylic are the first media she worked on with and found a growing fondness with watercolour and gouache. As a graduate of advertising program in college, she is also skilled in digital art.
She has joined numerous group exhibitions in the past and got included in top jury selections of various art competitions in the Philippines. |
