Jon MacNair was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in the suburbs of Southeast Michigan.

He is a graduate of The Maryland Institute College of Art where he earned a Bachelors in Fine Art and a major in illustration.

He currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland where he works as a freelance illustrator and artist.
