Life is confusing and strange and amazing and exciting.
Everything I see, hear, and think influences my work.
I have been drawing since I could first hold a crayon. My dream job as a child was to be a comic strip artist, and at a very early age my mother would buy me books and VHS' on how to be a cartoonist. Not having many friends, forced me to develop a massive imagination. I eventually traded in my crayons and
pencils for cans of spray paint and skateboards. Graffiti and
skateboarding culture played a huge role in my life as a teenager.
My work is combination of life's emotions (fear, happiness, regret, curiosity, etc...) and a desire to explore places in my brain. |
