I'm a digital and print designer currently freelancing, and lecturing in visual communication design. I love using texture in my work, (scanning in anything and everything from sandpaper to woolly hats!) and colour also plays an important part in my projects. I see my illustrations as an escape from commercial work, and allows me to explore a return to more traditional techniques.

About work : "Secret Garden Party"
I enjoyed doing this current piece, trying to capture a sense of freedom and smug elegance in the four legged creature, as if it were a celebration in a forest of ungainly two legged humans.
