Thea Schultheiss* - aka Theazy - is an artist currently living and working in Northamptonshire, England. Born in Guildford, raised in a small village in Surrey, and later in Florence, Italy, she had a diverse but grounded up bringing.
After studying Jewellery and Silversmithing at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, she has since returned to her true passion of drawing and painting.
She takes inspiration from her creature companions - house rabbits Bobbin and Roo, and tortoise Zetti.
Inspired by animals and nature she is currently fascinated by the idea of mutations and hybrids. She paints for aesthetical pleasure, creating characters which are sweet, if not slightly melancoly. Her main drive is in creating pieces which are most importantly pleasing.
